Who We Are & What We Do
Who We Are
The Lofts at Mayo Park is a project of the George F. Pougiales Family. Over the last century, the Rochester, Minnesota family has owned and operated a variety of properties in and around downtown. It has worked to redevelop properties into community assets in memory of John, George and Mary Pougiales. Redevelopment of the Lofts properties enabled the family to fund with tax increment financing assistance the burial of electric service in neighboring Mayo Memorial Park. Removal of the above ground wires and poles was a first step in improving the park for the community as envisioned by the family-funded and Park Board adopted Mayo Park Master Plan. The family has also collaborated with and supported local art groups and artists.
